August is looking like a good month.
We have 2 Hardcore Punk Bands from Gronigen, Holland playing in Luca on August 20th at 8pm. We are extremely excited to welcome Front Sector & Youth Deprivation to our shop. Tickets are available in-store for 5 Euro. Grab them quick before they are gone. The 2 bands are also gigging throughout Ireland in Ballina, Galway, Cork, Waterford (In Luca) and Enniscorthy.
Sympos and An Slua are playing a free gig outside Tully's Bar and Thomas Maher's Pub on O'Connell Street as part of Summer In The City on August 25th at 8pm. Currently the 2 best Oi! Punk bands in Ireland keeping the scene alive. This will be the first time these 2 bands play together. This is one for the Oi! history books. Both bands exploded onto the scene and are very involved within the worldwide scene of oi!. You will regret missing this.....
Finally we have Rising Damp & A Lethal Black Ooze playing the day after the Sympos gig in Luca Records & Decks on August 26th at 8pm. Tickets are 10 Euro and are available in-store. This will be a fantastic night of two different bands packing a lot of beautiful noise. Rising Damp and A Lethal Black Ooze both originate out of Dublin. Rising Damp being one of the many projects the fantastic Sarah Grimes is involved in. Make sure to pop down and support Waterford's own.
