And welcome to Luca Records and Decks first blogpost. We're going to kick things off with a couple of tasty gigs we have coming up soon.
On Saturday 11th of March at 9pm, Dublin based bands Bar Tape and Hubert Selby Jr Infants play the Luca Stage. Both bands bring their fast and loud brand of punk/garage, with Bar Tape having a skater punk sound and HSJI giving a more fuzz rock feel.
Bar Tape have just released a self titled EP which is receiving great traction accross Ireland. HSJI will have a single due for digital release close to the gig in Luca.
And then on Friday 17th March at 9pm we are very excited to welcome Sympos to our store for their first ever gig. Having just brought out their new 7" record "More Sympos" in early January on the back of last years highly thought of self titled album, this Waterford based Oi! four piece bring an aggressive, driving sound, taking the somewhat forgotten roots of Waterford punk and ripping them up from the ground.
Both gigs are only a fiver.
